Making A Comeback

The Return Of  The Texas Habitat

As a result of running a regenerative farm, we have been seeing an increasing number of our native species reestablish themselves. Some of the more sensitive species, such as spiders, frogs, mushrooms and birds, are a definite sign that the ecosystem is healthy and that their habitats aren’t being damaged by any chemicals or pesticides.

The Native Grasses

We have identified numerous species of beneficial grasses that used to grow here. They are coming up all over the land.

These bunch grasses benefit the wildlife, especially the birds that nest in them. We have several types of birds now that are nesting in them, including quail.

Floods Of Dew

In the mornings, there is so much dew on our grass now; every morning the land is drenched in a cool dew. This has been helping out so much, keeping our soil moist even when it doesn’t rain for a long time.

Due to our soil improving in health, the soil is able to retain more water thus making this possible.
