We use predominantly Maremma livestock guardian dogs to protect our sheep from predators. Our dog’s mission is to protect our farm, they take their job seriously and do it well.
We raise our dogs with our sheep ever since they are puppies. They grow up with the sheep and form a strong bond with them. These dogs love their job and they are excellent at it. We raise our dogs to where they are lethal to dangerous predators but work as partners with us.
We have Maremma guard dogs because they easily bond with animals. This makes it a lot easier to train the dogs. They are also good for the local wildlife because they will kill a predator only if it doesn’t back down. So the dogs will protect the sheep but also not run all over the country trying to kill a predator.
